The long list of books nominated for the Dmitry Zimin Enlightener Prize (Prosvetitel Prize in Russian), including the long list for the special PolitProsvet prize, has been announced.

Since its launch in 2016, the Enlightener Prize, supported by the Zimin Foundation, has been awarded annually to the best non-fiction books in the Russian language. The Enlightener.Translation Award is conferred to editors and translators of the best non-fiction books translated into Russian.

The jury of the Enlightener is currently working to evaluate the long list and compile the short list of 21 books in all nominations. The finalists will be announced by September 30.

The XVI season of the Dmitry Zimin Enlightener Prize started March 15, 2023. The jury will reveal the winners and award prizes on the third Thursday in November (November 16).
