A community of librarians, publishers and volunteers has been purchasing, packaging and delivering books in Ukrainian to refugees in Europe since the war started.

Their project is called “Книжки_вслід” (#booksfollow). More than 5000 books for children and adults have been donated as part of the project, with help from the Zimin Foundation.

The project also supported the procurement of books in Ukrainian, board games and drawing supplies and their delivery as Christmas gifts for 1,000 refugees from Ukraine living in various EU cities.
